Professional Certificate in Quality Service Practice & Professional Diploma in Quality Service Management

In support of the professionalisation of quality services training, the Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA) and Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education of the Open University of Hong Kong (LiPACE) have jointly formed a collaborative partnership to develop the Professional Certificate in Quality Service Practice & Professional Diploma in Quality Service Management.

A launch ceremony for the Professional Certificate in Quality Service Practice & Professional Diploma in Quality Service Management was successfully held on 9 May 2007 at Island Learning Centre of the Open University of Hong Kong. The ceremony received enthusiastic response from member merchants and a number of media organizations.

The newly designed Professional Certificate in Quality Service Practice & Professional Diploma in Quality Service Management is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The programme consists of 4 courses which covers quality service concept, customer relationship management, service quality management, talents management and value chain management..etc. The programme will include the information on "Quality Tourism Services" Scheme and invite some distinguished guest speakers to share their experience to ensure its practicality. It has also been included in the list of reimbursable courses for Continuing Education Fund (CEF) purpose.
