Support of the Be a Good Host Campaign |
BBTS strongly supported the HKTA's Be a Good Host Campaign through the sponsoring of a variety of activities including the Know Hong Kong Competition and the Super Staff Election Campaign.
The Super Staff Election Campaign focused on identifying examples of service excellence in the retail and catering industry. The Election formed one of the trade activities for the Be a Good Host Campaign. Its format required shoppers in eight shopping malls to vote for the staff who they felt offered the best customer service. Although the competition was not restricted to the Association's supporters, member organisations actively participated because not only did it encourage their frontline staff to be courteous and work with a positive attitude, but it also provided good publicity to businesses whose staff were successful in doing so. Interestingly, within the final list of eight winners, seven Super Staff came from BBTS member organisations. Both McDonald's Restaurant (HK) Ltd. (Food & Entertainment category) and Emphasis (Jewellery & Watches category) managed to secure two winners apiece in the final list of eight. Chow Sang Sang Jewellery Co Ltd, Caf?Deco and Shooter's 52 also scooped awards.
